Showroom makeover daily journal, days 17, 18 & 19

Captain's Log; star date Thursday 25th August

So then, what do you think?  Downlighters look good?  What about the subtle contrast of the grey walls and white ceiling?  How smart does that grey radiator look… and what about the brushed chrome wall sockets?  We're chuffed as chocolate frogs and extremely grateful to our professional and accommodating building contractors, Martin Spencer & Co (Bearsted, Maidstone), led by Robert Pearce, who have been able to translate our thoughts into reality.  Joe, Martin, Ed, Barry Rob and Leo… thanks lads… it was emotional.

Ok, you do still need some imagination.  We have to install the flooring (which you're gonna love), get some trendy furnishings in and of course, the all important flooring display units but by 'eck, it's really looking beautiful, don't you think?

See the darker grey wall at the far end?  Our builders have pre-cut the aperture for our new window.  We've never had a window on our first floor and after being let down by several window installers, Martin Spencer & Co came up trumps here too.  The window gets installed in a couple of weeks time.  Of course, once that happens and the showroom is fully complete we will then post final images for you all to see and for our competitors to gloat over.

So then, not only do we make all major flooring brands affordable to on-line users, we're about to do the same for face to face consumers.  Woohoo… we're gradually changing the way the nation goes about buying their flooring.

Lastly, keep your ears pinned back!  To mark the opening of our first retail flooring showroom, in September we shall be announcing a free giveaway of £1,500 worth of carpet to one lucky household.  Details will be announced on KMFM around mid September so make sure you tune in to them nearer the time.

Showroom re-opening schedule changed and now on for 2nd week in September

Oohh, nearly forgot.  This is how it looked just before Martin Spencer and Co spun their creative magic…
