Captain's Log; star date Wednesday 10th August
Nowt happened on Monday 8th but Tuesday 9th saw the floor joists being strengthened. Chipboard subfloor had to be removed and each existing joist was braced with a new companion, making the floor unquestionably sound for it's new purpose. An awful lot of banging, clattering and dust throughout the day meant our Head Honcho Flooring Guru had picked a fabulous day not to be on site.
Wednesday 10th sees two incredibly chirpy plasterers enter the Flooring Guru world. Making enough noise for 6 men, these chaps successfully skimmed all ceilings to International standard. We're expecting the walls to be completed Thursday or Friday. Tomorrow sees the down lighters installed.
And now for something completely different:
Continuing to demonstrate how obedient he is, Marli held this dog treat on his noise for 30 seconds without moving.
He was then given the command to eat it. Ever wondered how fast a Border Collie can flip a treat off their nose to destination mouth? Look no further…
Showroom re-opening on schedule for 1st week in September
